Through Integrated Sciences
Claremont McKenna College’s next-generation Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences, located inside the new Robert Day Sciences Center, will uniquely integrate science education to address the biggest questions of our time. This interdisciplinary approach will prepare students to lead at critical intersections of scientific and computational discovery, technological application, business, policy, ethics, and several of the College’s other core liberal arts strengths. The Kravis Department of
Integrated Sciences
In February 2022, Claremont McKenna College announced the naming of its new Kravis Department of Integrated Sciences. The program, rooted in CMC’s foundational liberal arts and leadership mission, honors philanthropist, trustee, and alumnus Henry Kravis ’67 and his wife, Marie-Josée. Their transformative commitment will support the appointment of 25 world-class faculty, including 12 Kravis Chairs, exploring interdisciplinary and socio-scientific grand challenges.

The Robert Day
Sciences Center
In December 2021, Claremont McKenna College announced the naming of its new Robert Day Sciences Center, an iconic facility that will further expand the College’s commitment to preparing future leaders. In recognition of a lead gift from the W.M. Keck Foundation and investments from foundations affiliated with the Day family, the new center honors CMC alumnus, fifty-year trustee, and W.M. Keck Foundation chair and chief executive officer Robert Day ’65 P’12.
